Christmas is calling at Distillery Road Market (DRM), as the Logan-based entertainment hub puts on its family-favourite DRM’s Bazaar Markets and transforms into a Christmas wonderland on 1 and 15 December from 4pm to 9pm.
Jam-packed with everything you need to get into the festive spirit, DRM’s final markets for the year will host a wide range of vendors and speciality market stalls, making it a one-stop-shop for those looking to source local and handmade gifts.
Whether you’re looking to find something special for a loved one, a unique item for that person who’s hard to buy for, or something fun for a Secret Santa gift, browse through DRM’s Market Hall while shopping and supporting local this Christmas.
From Christmas gifts to stocking fillers including handmade, ethical, and sustainable wares from local makers, fresh produce from local growers, meats, preserves, bulk foods, arts and crafts creations, artisan wares, plants and more.
Pick up a gift for family and friends such as jams, preserves and honey from Pickle and Zest, bespoke cutlery from Kila Cutlery, stunning natural beauty products from Ohh de Naturale, and more.
Look out for Santa and his ‘Selfie Elf’, who will be meandering through the market and spreading jolly good Christmas cheer or grab your furry friend and bring them along on December 1 for a Santa Pet Photo– pre-booking is required to secure a timeslot and be sure to get your cutest pet Christmas costume ready.
Then on 15 December, learn how to make a Christmas wreath at DRM’s Wreath Workshop – spots are limited and bookings are required.
There will be plenty of free entertainment for the whole family to enjoy at DRM’s Bazaar Markets this month, including live music and an epic line-up of delicious local food trucks offering gourmet eats and treats.
Offering fresh seasonal-inspired food and drinks from a range of food trucks and vendors, visitors can also enjoy the enticing fare of onsite outlets - Sugar Creek Smokehouse, Kiwanda Café and Posadas Cantina.
DRM’s Bazaar Markets will offer extended trading from 4pm to 9pm on both market dates, providing a chance to grab a heartfelt gift before Christmas is officially here.
Put on your artistic hat and get creative for Cork & Chroma’s Paint & Sip when it returns on Thursday 1 December. It’s the perfect way to ease into the end of year festivities, with attendees guided by an artist who will take them step-by-step through the basics of painting and creating their own unique acrylic on canvas artwork of Palm on Peach. Tickets are limited and include a drink on arrival.
With free entry, parking and entertainment, DRM’s market experiences have been created to celebrate and showcase the best of SEQ’s marketeers and food vendors.
Located off Exit 35 of the M1 Motorway with more than 600 car parks at the precinct, DRM is located midway between the Gold Coast and Brisbane in the rapidly growing Logan City, making the markets both visible and easily accessible from the motorway.
