Heads up! Burleigh Festival is just around the corner, taking over the stunning southern hub from 16 to 18 September.
Burleigh Festival celebrates much that Burleigh has to offer over three culturally rich days full of food, wine, music, surfing and surf life saving. The full program is coming soon, but in the meantime, here's a hint of some of the things on offer:
Food & Wine
Grab your picnic rug and treat yourself to an incredible flavour full afternoon with the best of Burleigh’s food offerings, paired with wines from extraordinary producers.

Surf: Burleigh Boardriders King and Queen of the Point
World class surfing will return to Burleigh Hill with the inaugural Burleigh Festival King and Queen of the point surfing competition proudly hosted by Burleigh Boardriders and Summer of Surf.
Taking place Saturday and Sunday 17 and 18 September at Burleigh Hill, Australia's best surfers will battle it out to be declared the King and Queen of Burleigh Point and provide world class surfing entertainment a stone's throw from Burleigh Hill.
The event will see four-person 20 heats with athletes' single highest wave counting towards their overall heat total.
Divisions include Open Men, Open Women and will feature a $5,000 prize pool.

1st - $1,000
2nd - $750
3rd - $500
4th - $250

SLS: Summer of Surf 5-on-5 Shootout
Friday afternoon entertainment ia sorted with the Summer of Surf 5-on-5 Shootout taking place at the world famous Burleigh Heads Beach.
The 5-on-5 shootout will see Australia's best surf sports athletes competing club against club in the most exciting 5-aside format the sport has ever seen, proudly hosted by Summer of Surf.
The afternoon will feature head to head matchups in a tennis style elimination draw with only one team emerging as the Burleigh Food and Wine Festival 5-on-5 shootout champions.
