Celebrate the Gold Coast’s best local cocktails and bars for the entire month of May with the launch of Australian Cocktail Month. 

Australian Cocktail Month is partnering with some of the best local and international alcohol brands to champion the country’s bar industry. There will be six venue offerings on the Gold Coast including Fig & Frankies, Las Palmas, Justin Lane Est., The Cambus Wallace, NAÂMi and The Exhibitionist Bar. 

Ticket holders will have access to an exclusive limited menu of $14 cocktails, allowing locals the chance to escape their day-to-day for a moment of cocktail bliss while supporting some of the city's top venues. 

This initiative was created by influential industry figure Penny Sippe as a way to help the hospitality industry rebuild after the pandemic; covering cities right across the country including Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Geelong, Hobart, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth, Sydney Wollongong, and Gold Coast.

“I am so excited for another year of Australian Cocktail Month. Year two and we have more cities and double the bars involved. Encouraging consumers to head out and explore the bars that make our cities so vibrant whilst enjoying amazing cocktails created by some of the country’s best bartenders is our goal.” says Sippe.

The month will feature a range of international brands such as Shanky’s Whip Whisky and Fords Gin, as well as a multitude of local brands including Idle Hour Vodka, Needle & Pin Gin, and Morris Whisky.

With the desire for low or no-alcohol options on the rise, Australian Cocktail Month has non-alcoholic options for $10. Fever-Tree; a premium mixer; Lyres, a range of hand-crafted spirits and bartender creativity combine to give consumers who prefer not to drink alcohol a taste of the cocktail experience (and loads of flavour) associated with Australian bars.
