Love is in the air this February as Distillery Road Market (DRM) transforms for a special one night only Valentine’s Day-themed event.

The DRM outdoor entertainment precinct will transform into a food lovers delight, showcasing a range of local food trucks serving up all the delicious treats you can think of from wood fired pizza to creamy gelato and sweet and savoury popcorn, there is something to tickle even the fussiest of taste buds.

The indoor market hall will come alive as Cork & Chroma and Distillery Road Market collaborate to bring you a mega paint and sip event to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Budding artists will get to enjoy a drink of their choice on arrival, then paint along with a Cork & Chroma artist as they take you step-by-step through the basics of acrylics on canvas, bringing the fun from their South Brisbane studios to Eagleby.

For this Valentine’s Day edition, guests will be painting Picasso Portraits, you can paint a portrait of yourself, lover or friend! Be inspired by the variety of example paintings and learn techniques from our experienced artists to create your own unique masterpiece. Bookings are essential and this event is sure to book out so don’t miss out!

Alongside the Paint and Sip, local Artisans and Makers will also be showcasing their unique wares so you can pick up that last minute gift for your valentine or a special treat for yourself, with everything from homemade treats, to beauty products, plants and homewares. It has never been easier to shop local.

With a stellar line up of live music and cute photo opportunities, visitors can also enjoy the delicious fare of onsite outlets Kiwanda Cafe, Sugar Creek Smokehouse and Posadas Cantina each time they visit a DRM event.

Conveniently situated halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, DRM is the perfect meeting place to catch up with friends, so make a night of it and come along on February 11th for a fun filled night out for all. 

DRM's regular markets run on 2 and 16 February, as well. With free entry, free parking and free entertainment, there's no excuse not to hit the trucks this month!
