Held on the fourth Sunday of each month, the new Paradise Point art and craft market will be held beachside at North Esplanade Park.
The new beachfront market provides a platform for local micro-businesses and creators to showcase their wares and engage with their customers and community face-to-face. Clothing, jewellery, pottery, paintings and photography are just a handful of the stunning local creations up for grabs.
It has been several years since Paradise Point has held its own recurring Sunday arts and crafts market. Councillor Cameron Caldwell is excited for the new event and says locals share his enthusiasm, having received strong “positive feedback and support from the community and local businesses for the markets to return to Paradise Point”.
The Gold Coast’s beloved and longest-standing Sunday markets Art and Craft on The Coast are organising the new event. General Manager Damon Robbins is excited for Paradise Point to finally return its own market platform.
“There’s no better way to spend a Sunday than at a market. It’s not just a chance to find unique, beautifully-crafted local products, but an opportunity to engage with passionate micro-businesses - artists and creators, who really cherish every interaction with their customers”.
“In a gorgeous park right next to our spectacular beachfront with live music floating through the air – what more could you want?”
Keen Market goers, their kids (and their pooches) can immerse in the market atmosphere and support local artisans by heading to North Esplanade Park at Paradise Point’s Broadwater foreshore from 8am to 2pm ton the fourth Sunday of each month.
