This April Tame Impala will embark on their biggest ever Australian Tour.
Led by multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker, Tame Impala have established themselves as one of the most astounding live acts around. The meditative sound and amazing light show provide that feeling of psychedelic euphoria. Their live experience is a must-see and world-renowned. In 2019 they had headlining slots such as Coachella, Glastonbury, Primavera, and Splendour in the Grass.
Tame Impala will be playing songs from their just-released new album 'The Slow Rush', an album which Kevin Parker says a good part of the album was inspired by hanging with rapper, Travis Scott, and shopping stoned. The result is something you might expect, but could not define from this psych-rock phenomenon. They will also be playing their classics from the Tame Impala catalogue, from the 2010 debut 'Innerspeaker', 2012 'Lonerism', to the 2015 'Currents'.
Joining Tame Impala on all dates are Texan genre-defiers, Khruangbin. In Australia last year playing their debut sold-out headline tour, the sunny instrumental three-piece will warm audiences with their mind-expanding live show.
The tour kicks off at Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Queensland on Saturday, April 18 then heads to Qudos Bank Arena in New South Wales, Rod Laver Arena in Victoria, Adelaide Entertainment Centre in South Australia and finishes at RAC Arena in Western Australia.
A second Melbourne show has already been added to the tour due to high demand, and you won't want to be slow with purchasing your tickets for the Brisbane show as they will be sure to sell out.
Tame Impala will be performing at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Saturday, April 18 and tickets are on sale now through Ticketek.
