Disconnect then reconnect with Sounds of Life

Sounds of Life Touring is a unique live music touring company founded on the Gold Coast in 2022 by performing artist, Josh Lovegrove, and dedicated to the belief that the power of live music can connect people and inspire change.

2023 will see a travelling series of shows in both metropolitan and regional locations, bringing a diverse line-up of established and emerging musicians and bands together, highlighting song-writing excellence, musical prowess and stage presence.

Through their platform, they aim to foster a community of like-minded people who are passionate about supporting and promoting the growth of original Australian music acts.

Josh then adds other unique layers to his touring company by creating an experience that focusses on music being shared in spaces with strong values of wellness and well-being.

“Music, art, wellness and connection are inherently linked,” says Josh, “but are constantly being compartmentalised!

“We aim for a full experience, not just a show.”

To this end, audiences are welcomed into a drug, alcohol and technology-free, immersive music event – to let go of addictions and be truly present.

Sounds of Life events focus just as much on the audience as they do the performers.

“We are endeavouring to create a deeply ingrained culture of respectfulness, connection, storytelling, nature and creativity for both our artists and audiences nationwide.”

This is a festival experience on a smaller scale but still supported by quality sound and lighting production, an MC and a team onsite to welcome and support attendees from the moment they arrive.

If anyone is having FOMO being disconnected from social media, Sounds of Life also engage professional event photographers and videographers to capture each show, which is then curated and shared with all ticket holders post event.

So far this year there have been three events held in Queensland, with the fourth to be held at a secret location in the hinterland of the Gold Coast on 8 June, starting at 6pm.

Once a ticket is purchased, the location is shared.

The line-up will include Perth based acoustic artist, David Lazarus and singer, songwriter, poet Alice Night, with special guests to be announced. Sound of Life sessions are for all ages.
