Tijuana Cartel to play GCMAs
This year’s Gold Coast Music Awards is already shaping up to be a cracker, with two-time Live Act of the Year winners Tijuana Cartel lined up to play during the ceremony. Should they win the category for a third time, they’ll be inducted into the GCMA Hall of Fame alongside local legends Amy Shark and Casey Barnes. Will they do it? Charlie Chan presents SUPANOVA
No, it’s not the comic con. Rather, it’s a 27-hour piano marathon. Yes, you heard correctly. 27 hours. Running over the 23 + 24 June on HOTA’s Outdoor Stage, SUPANOVA is an endurance performance by one of Australia’s leading concert pianists, composers and creative innovationists, Charlie Chan. Featuring special guests and many creative friends and supporters, this never-before-attempted concert event serves as a retrospective of Charlie’s 40-year career as a virtuoso pianist and composer. Skate time for the school hols
