Later skater…roll into Surfers Paradise for this FREE 4-day skate spectacular!

From kick flips to ollies, Paradise Centre in Surfers Paradise will transform into a skateboarding mecca from Thursday 29 June to Sunday 2 July 2023.

Over four action-packed days, the beachside destination will play host to a 7m x 5m skate ramp, semi pro skate shows, breakdancing performances, the coolest kids’ workshops on the coast, giveaways, and more…so fetch your kneepads and fasten your helmet.

Whether your kid has never balanced on a board before or is the next Tony Hawk, they’ll love the free skateboarding clinics on offer, hosted by the local crew from Rock N Slide Skateboarding, held every hour at 11am, 12pm and 1pm daily.

Suitable for kids aged 4-12 years, every participant in the skateboarding workshop will receive a free drawstring skate bag filled with freebies and discounts from Paradise Centre retailers plus the chance to win one of four Fast Times Skateboarding skateboards with the winner drawn daily at 2pm.

From 12pm-4pm, head to the Paradise Parlour on level one near Zone Bowling, where you can score a free temporary tattoo in the pop-up parlour, pose with your freshly applied tatt in front of the neon wall, and take five with a free fairy floss.

The beachfront dining precinct will be a hive of activity all arvo with free breakdancing shows, roving entertainment, DJs, and semi-pro skate performances on the ramp from 2pm to 6pm.

While you’re in Surfers, don’t forget to shred up your wardrobe with fresh skate looks from Vans, Surf Dive N’ Ski, Platypus Shoes, Stateside Sports, Skechers, Rip Curl and Fast Times Skateboarding, all open at Paradise Centre.

Spend $80 or more on fashion, footwear or jewellery at Paradise Centre and take your receipt to the Skate Paradise desk near Stateside Sports from 12pm-6pm for the chance to win one of 10 Fast Times Skateboarding skateboard prize packs.
